FAQ

4. After the Session

> Do you do any retouching?

Yes – I am an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop and am well-versed in the art of digital portrait retouching. Have no fear… I promise that all retouching will be subtle and help to create a final image that you will be very happy with.

If you have a particular scar, mole, birth mark, tattoo or anything else you would like me to specifically remove or leave untouched in the final images, please let me know.

> How many finals will I receive and when can I expect them?

Most portrait sessions yield anywhere from 10 to 25 final images.

Some times of the year are busier than others and this impacts how fast I can edit the images and get them back to you. With that in mind, you should allow two to four weeks for final editing.

If you have a specific deadline to meet, please let me know during our consultation and we will work to make it happen.

> How will I receive my images?

I put all final images into a password-protected gallery on my website and I will email the password to you. No one will be able to see your photos but you and whoever you choose to pass along the password to.

> Can I get my photos via email or download?

I do not offer any images by email or download from my website.

Before you receive any final images, you will have to sign a copyright release. I also like to be present when you get your images in case you have any questions.

> Do you offer print packages?

No. You can order prints à la carte through my website or through me directly.

> How do I order prints?

When you log in to your private gallery, you can add prints to your shopping cart.

If you have any issues with ordering, please email me at vujiphotos@gmail.com.

> Can I get my images on a CD?

There is a fee of $20.00 for each print-ready image and $10.00 for each web-ready image. Complete session discs are available at discounted rate of $100.

If you are interested in having your final images on a CD, you will need to sign a copyright release.

> Can I get a photo book or album made?

Of course! If you are interested in any specialty items including photo albums, books, or calendars, please let me know during our pre-shoot consultation.

There will be an extra fee for the layout, design, and printing of specialty items.

> I want to do something really special with my photos. Got any ideas?

You bet! I love showing off all the cool new things you can do with photographs. I have a number of options that we can explore during your pre-shoot consultation, but here are just a few of my favorite unique items.

  • Canvas – Always a classic! Gallery canvas prints are an affordable way to show off your favorite photos and turn your home into a miniature art gallery at the same time.
  • Aluminum – Simply stunning! Your photos are printed on sheets of aluminum using a special process that really brings colors and textures to life.
  • Acrylic – The latest and greatest! Shine a light from behind or at the wall near these bad boys and give your photos a unique “glow” that will blow away any who see them.
